Introduction
According to current Industrial requirements about QA/QC Courses, all Engineers should be multi-talented and specialized in at least 2 or more specific technical areas. About Course Details
General
Certified Quality Controller is a Post Engineering Specialization Certification program for Engineering Graduates & Diploma Holders. After Successful completion of this program, each candidate will be enough trained equivalent to an Engineer of 3-5 year relevant experience in handling various duties and responsibilities of the respective industry. The CQC (Certified Quality Controller) Students may work in the following designation at various industries.

The Certification Program Covers wide range of topics and are not limited to Quality Control Only. This Course is crafted according to meet the Guidelines & Standards of ASME, API, ASNT, ASQ, AWS, BS and ISO. CQC is the only, Exclusive Accredited Certification Program for Fresh Engineers towards the above said Quality Related Professions.

Topics covered in CQC are updated periodically to maintain the credibility, consistency and industry needs, hence the course syllabus is regularly revised by Professionals who review or prepares the ASME, ASNT, API, AWS, ISO Standards.

About Examination

Examinations are classified into General, Open Book, Viva, Practical and P & P Preparation.

All General Examination will be Objective Type Examinations with both Online & Offline mode of appearance available for all participants according to their convenience.

Open Book Examinations are Objective Exams based on a given Code Book which will be allowed to refer during the examination time.

Viva Examinations are normally a part of Practical Examination.
Practical Examinations are based on checkpoints and each participant must achieve sufficient checkpoints to clear this examination.

P & P Preparation Examinations are based on the Skill participants gained in preparation and reviewing various inspection documents.
So far we have a 98% Passing Rate in our CQC Courses.
About Certification

General Certification
After Successful Completion of the Certification Program, All Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency by Decibel Examinations & Certifications which will be endorsed by the respective CQC – Governing Accredited Certification Body like (API, ASNT, ASQ, or ISO) respectively.

Add-On Certification
Since Certified Quality Controller topics meets/overcomes the requirements of SNT-TC-1A. Participants those who wish to attend Add-on certification examination as per the Certification Procedure based on  ASNT ‘s Recommended Practice Standard & which is  Internationally Approved as NDT Level 2 in accordance to SNT-TC-1A latest edition following at the institution for the following methods,
• Radiography Testing
• Magnetic Particle Testing
• Ultrasonic Testing
• Magnetic Particle Testing
• Liquid Penetrant Testing
• Visual Testing
• Radiography Film Interpretation
• Ultrasonic Level 2 Plate Butt Weld Scanning with Critical Defect Sizing
• Ultrasonic Level 2 Specialization Pipe Butt Weld Scanning with Critical Defect Sizing.

Shall be taken up and over the successful completion of each method examination, according to the requirements mentioned above, NDT Level 2 Certificates will be awarded for each such participants.

Over all nearly 20 Individual Certificates will be there as a credential of Qualification for a Successfully Certified CQC Candidate.

About Qualification
Candidates with educational qualification as BE/B-tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Petroleum, Aerospace, Aircraft, Marine, Industrial Engineering or equivalent may apply for this certification program. Those who are awaiting final semester result as well as those who have to attend supplementary examinations may also apply.

About Registration
Duly filled in Enrollment form along with following documents like, all supporting Educational Qualification Documents both Original & 1 Xerox Copy, a Vision Acuity Certificate duly attested by a registered Ophthalmologist in the prescribed form (This may be downloaded from the Downloads section of our Website). Initial Payment towards the Enrollment& Course fee INR: 10,500 as Demand Draft, NEFT or Cash.

WHAT IS WELDING ENGINEERING?
Welding engineering is an engineering discipline which involves the synergistic application of technologies to result in the creation of welded structures, components or products meeting specified industry standards. Welding Engineering involves the careful consideration and interrelationships of design, materials, processes, and quality requirements.

WHAT IS A WELDING ENGINEER?
A welding engineer is an individual who has been trained to apply welding engineering principles in a manner that will result in the creation of sound welded structures, components or products in the most effective and efficient manner. A Welding Engineer must be able to understand how design, materials, processes and quality requirements interact with and affect one another. The Welding Engineer must consider how these materials and processes will be selected and applied to meet specified service conditions and requirements of applicable drawings, standards and contract specifications.

WHAT IS A CERTIFIED WELDING ENGINEER*?
The Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) Credential is granted to an individual who has qualified as a candidate based on documented training and qualifying work experience per the requirements of AWS B5.16:2006 – Specification for the Qualification of Welding Engineers and has received a passing score for an examination comprised of multiple parts.

A Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) must demonstrate the following via Qualification and Examination to receive their CWEng Credential:
• Appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities in the specification and oversight of welding operations leading to the production of weldments that meet requirements of applicable standards. This can include a number of activities, including but not limited to: the interpretation and execution of design drawings and specifications, preparation of welding procedure specifications and related work instructions, oversight of related manufacturing and fabrication activities related to creation of a weldment, and oversight of required quality control activities to verify that weldments meet the requirements of applicable standards.
• Capable of performing basic calculations for weld joint design, selection of appropriate base and filler metals for specific applications, selection and adjustment of welding processes, verification that welding procedure specifications have been properly qualified and that they are being applied correctly, and verification that resulting welds are in compliance with applicable standards.
• Be aware of the economics of the welding operation in terms of process selection and application so that welding is performed in the most effective and efficient manner.
• Capable of effectively communicating with various individuals involved in the manufacturing or fabrication operation including management personnel, design engineers, inspection representatives, welders and welding operators, as well as other individuals involved with ancillary activities.
